Bora Bora Island | Where is Bora Bora ? Bora Bora is one of the best tourist attraction in the world. Bora bora an island in the Leward Islands of the cluster community, French Polynesia,which is an overseas collectivity of France located in Pacific Ocean. Bora Bora island is surround by a lagoon and a row of coral reefs. The island is located approximately 230 km (140 mi) northwest of Papeete. In the middle of the island there is a former volcano which has two peaks, Mount Pahia and mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 metres (2,385 ft).

Bora Bora is the main goal of international tourism, famous resort aqua-centric. The major settlement, Vaitape, located in the western part of the main island in the opposite direction, with the main line towards the lagoon. The result of the production of the island is mostly limited to what can be utilized from the sea and palm trees, which have historic economic role in making copra.
