Hamilton Island Australia | Hamilton Island is an uninhabited island and also the largest existing in the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia. The island is one of the popular and most visited by
tourists both foreign as well as domestic. The island has a long history, starting from the beginning of its discovery until the tenancy or transaction of buying and selling against the island. The island was purchased by Keith Williams and Bryan Bryt in 1975. Keith Williams began building the island along with its complex of resornya in 1978. Gradually, the resort opened in 1982 and 1984. However in 1985, part of the resort complex was destroyed due to a fire accident and was built back in 1986. Then in December 2003, the island was officially purchased by Bob Oatley and their families.
